Adding a vacation
How to block time in the calendar for vacations and days off
Why use the vacation feature?
The vacation feature lets you block days in your calendar when you are not working. This can include vacations, days off, or any other days when you are unavailable.
Benefits:
- Clients won’t be able to book these days via online booking
- You won’t receive work reminders on these days
- The calendar clearly shows when you are unavailable
- You can plan your free time in advance
How to add a vacation
Two ways to block days
You can add a vacation directly through the calendar — choose the method that suits you based on the calendar view.
Ways to add:
List calendar
Tap the '+' button in the calendar and choose “Vacation” or “Day off”
Grid calendar
Tap any time slot — a menu will open at the bottom, select “Vacation”
Vacation settings:
- Start date: the date when you become unavailable
- End date: the last unavailable date (inclusive)
- Personal note: optional — add a note for yourself (clients won’t see it)

Blocking full days
How to block one or multiple days
When you add a vacation, you specify a start and end date — all days in between become days off.
What happens:
- All selected days become unavailable for booking
- These days are marked as days off in the calendar
- Clients don’t see these days in online booking
- You can block a single day or a range (for example, a week)
Existing appointments
If there are already appointments on vacation days
Before adding a vacation, check whether there are existing appointments on those days. If so, they need to be rescheduled.
What to do:
- Check the calendar for appointments on planned vacation days
- Contact those clients in advance
- Offer to reschedule to another convenient time
- After rescheduling all appointments, add the vacation
Changing plans
Canceling or editing a vacation
Plans can change — you can easily cancel or edit a vacation if you decide to work.
How to cancel a vacation:
- Tap the vacation in the calendar
- Select “Delete” or “Cancel”
- Confirm the action
Vacation in the calendar
How days off are displayed
Vacation days appear in the calendar the same way as regular days off — highlighted and unavailable for booking.
Visual display:
- Vacation days are marked as days off (usually gray or a special color)
- There are no buttons to create appointments on those days
- They look the same as regular weekly days off
- Clients simply see that the day is unavailable
What clients see
When you add a vacation, the system automatically protects that time from bookings.
- Vacation days appear as regular days off
- Clients don’t see these days as available
- There’s no information about the reason — just a day off
- If a client already had an appointment on a vacation day, it must be rescheduled manually
Recurring days off
Regular days when you don’t work
If you have regular days off (for example, every Sunday), configure them in your working hours.
Where to configure:
- Settings → Working hours
- Select the days of the week you work
- The remaining days will automatically become days off every week
Client notifications
Notifying about a long vacation
If you’re planning a long vacation, you can notify your clients in advance via messaging.
How to send a notification:
- Go to the “Campaigns” section
- Create a new message for clients
- Specify the vacation period and suggest booking before or after
- Send the message to your regular clients
Best practices
Plan ahead
Add vacations to your calendar as early as possible — at least 2–3 weeks in advance. This gives clients time to choose other dates.
Use notifications
For long vacations, notify your regular clients in advance. Mention the vacation period and suggest booking before or after.
Check appointments
Before adding a vacation, check if there are appointments on those days. If so, reschedule them in advance by contacting clients.
Important to remember:
Rest is an important part of productive work. Plan vacations in advance, notify clients via messages, and enjoy your well-deserved break!
