Export product data for analysis, inventory checks, and a separate backup
Why export products
An export creates a spreadsheet containing product data at the time of download. You can open it in a spreadsheet application, review stock and prices, prepare a report, or keep a separate backup copy.
What the file contains
Available columns depend on the details completed in each product card
Name and description
The main details used to identify a product
Category
The product group used for sorting and filtering
Quantity
The product's current inventory balance
Status
The product's availability or state in the system
Purchase cost
The cost stored in the product card
Sale price
The price used when the product is sold
Profit
A calculated value based on saved prices when available
Date
Creation, update, or export date according to the exported file structure
How to export the file
Review filters and product data before downloading
- Open My Products
- Open the product export action
- Select the required list or parameters when options are available
- Select Export
- Wait for the file to be generated and downloaded
- Open it and verify the row count and key values

Compare the system data with the physical product quantity

Editing the exported spreadsheet
The exported file is a separate copy. You can sort rows, add formulas, comments, and your own columns.
If you edit a price, stock value, or name only in Excel, the change is not automatically returned to the system.
- Create a copy of the original file before major changes
- Do not remove columns if another team member will use the table
- Update the actual product data inside Zman up
Recommendations
Include the date
Add the export date to the filename
Protect the data
Store the spreadsheet only where authorized people can access it

Do not overwrite an older file when change history is required
Verify the result
Compare several products and prices with the system after exporting
An export is a data snapshot
Create a new file after product changes or new sales because an older spreadsheet is not updated automatically.
